Blackhart Tattoo Deposit and Voucher Disclaimer
At Blackhart Tattoo, we strive to provide a professional and seamless experience for our clients. To ensure clarity and fairness in our booking process, the following policies regarding deposits, vouchers, cancellations, and arrivals apply:
1. Deposit Requirement
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. This deposit secures your appointment with your chosen artist and covers a portion of the time allocated to you.
- Deposits must be paid at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to confirm your booking. Without a deposit, we cannot guarantee your spot.
2. Payment Options
We offer the following payment methods for deposits:
- Cash: Deposits can be paid in person at the studio during business hours.
- Bank Transfer: Deposits can also be made via bank transfer into the following business account; ASB - J L SAGGERS - 12 3148 0205671 52 Please contact us directly, prior to paying your deposit for the necessary booking details (reference number, deposit amount, booking details) to help us identify your payment.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. To maintain fairness while allowing for flexibility, the following policies apply:
- Cancellation Notice:
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid forfeiting your deposit.
- If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the appointment and no prior arrangement has been made, the deposit will be forfeited.
- Rescheduling:
- Rescheduling is allowed if you provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Your deposit can be applied to the new appointment, subject to the artist’s availability.
- Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the appointment may result in the forfeiture of your deposit unless otherwise agreed upon with the artist.
4. Late Arrivals
- We allow a grace period of 30 minutes for clients who may arrive late to their appointment. If you anticipate being late, please notify the studio as soon as possible.
- If you arrive beyond the 30-minute grace period without prior notice, your appointment may be canceled, and your deposit forfeited. This ensures we respect the time of other clients and our artists.
- For clients who notify us of late arrivals within the 30-minute window, adjustments to the session may be made at the artist’s discretion based on the remaining time available.
5. Voucher Purchases
In addition to our deposit policies, Blackhart Tattoo offers vouchers for clients who wish to gift or prepay for tattoo services. The following terms apply:
- Voucher Pricing:
Vouchers are available for purchase starting from $150 up to $2000.
- Payment and Validity:
- Vouchers must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.
- All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the purchase date and must be redeemed within this period.
- Non-Transferable:
- Vouchers are non-transferable and can only be used by the individual named on the voucher.
- Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, promotions, or discounts.
- Refunds and Extensions:
- Vouchers are non-refundable.
- Extensions may be granted under exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the studio, but must be requested before the expiration date.
6. Deposit Forfeiture
Please be aware that deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Changes of mind regarding the tattoo.
- Failure to provide the required notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
- Repeated rescheduling without adequate notice.
7. Artist Discretion
- In cases of emergencies or extenuating circumstances, your artist may choose to make exceptions to the deposit policy at their discretion. These situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
- If your artist cancels or reschedules your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, your deposit will be retained and applied to your rescheduled session.
8. Design Policy
- Deposits also serve as a commitment to the tattoo design process. If you request changes to your design after it has been finalized or within a short timeframe before your appointment, additional fees may apply at the artist’s discretion.
By placing a deposit or purchasing a voucher with Blackhart Tattoo, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms. These policies are designed to respect both our clients’ and artists’ time while ensuring a professional and fair process.
